What inspired you to research and, consequently, become passionate about the Atomic Bombs of Nagasaki and Hiroshima?"I would have to blame my old neighbour for this! Gar [Alperovitz] is a close friend of mine and during my youth I was too lucky to have met such a wonderful man elaborate and teach me about the outcome of the Second World War. Whilst I was still little Gar would help me with history homework and teach me about the wars. He showed me around Cambridge as he fellow at the time.
